Goji berries are good for nourishing the kidneys and liver, while benefitting the eyes. Berries in general are usually good for the kidneys, and goji berries in particular have been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for thousands of years. The liver in TCM is said to open into the eyes, and signs of a liver deficiency could be dry eyes, or blurry vision. The kidneys are the source of the body, and are constantly being used up from the day you are born, which makes it a good organ to tonify. Signs of weak kidneys include lumbar pain, frequent urination, hearing loss, night urination, night sweats, and knee pain. So add goji berries to your diet, you can mix it in with oatmeal, or make tea out of it.
